During July, FCRI organises training courses for science teachers in Secondary Education, with the aim of promoting the introduction of the scientific method in schools and enhancing teachers’ digital competencies on both a pedagogical and professional level. This enables effective integration of technology in the classroom and improves student learning.

The training methodology focuses on meaningful, participative, and collaborative approaches to STEAM content, with participants at the centre of the learning process. Additionally, they engage in individual and small group practical exercises to apply the theoretical concepts covered in the sessions.

The courses provide interactive sessions where participants self-regulate their learning. They encourage bi-directional sessions that foster debate, interaction, and sharing of knowledge and experiences.

The ultimate aim of the methodology employed is to make learning as competency-focused as possible, enabling participants to apply their learning in their daily lives, ensuring it is meaningful, enduring, and practical.
